Unselect rows before export to Excel

Description of problem:
I have "select" set to true so I can select and highlight a row.
The problem is when I export to Excel, it exports only the selected row. Is there a way, maybe in customization section, to use all rows. I need all rows based on existence or non-existence of search filter and not just the selected row. That is, if I have filtered by a column value and am looking at 10 of 100 records, I need to be able to export all 10 records even if I have highlighted a row or two.
