Edit controls allowed in grid

Howdy! I am new here and my BIG question(s) are.
Can I use all editing controls in my grid?
Can I use "Pulldown menus", "Checkboxes" and "Radio Buttons" in my editable grid?
If so how?

Thanks allan. I did that and was able to put checkboxes and Pulldowns into the table. Very Nice.
I am now at the last stage. I need to be able to add types to the element so I can add 'datepicker', 'tabs' etc from jQuery UI.
You really helped so thanks a lot.
