nightly.datatables.net stopped working on my web site

Hi,

nightly.datatables.net stopped working on my web site, in particular I get:

dataTables.responsive.min.js:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: DataTable is not defined

Do I have to switch to something new?

I'm not sure why that error is occurring. The nightly versions are meant to provide fixes before the next release is available. Unless you need a nightly version for a specific fix you should use released versions. Use the Download Builder to get the latest current release.

Why are you using the nightly version?

Hi,

Sorry about that. I've been working on the build scripts we use recently and had an error which propagated out to the nightly. I've fixed it now and the nightly should again run correctly.

As Kevin notes though - use the production releases unless you actually need something from the nightly.
