The word "edit" appears below my table

First time user - presumably, brand new & beautiful version of sftw. Everything great except even after unchecking ALL of the boxes - I JUST WANT TO display 2 images side-by-side - involving user editing, I still get that word & "functionality." Looks like a silly bug to me - Why would that be the default?? Any easy way to get rid of it???

Your description is difficult to understand. Please provide a test case, in accordance with the forum rules, so that we can see your code in operation.

THANK you, thank you. (Although you probably SHOULD mention this "glitch" on your site!!) the word "edit" appears because I was still logged in as "admin" AND in "edit mode." I figured that my hitting UPDATE ... and then viewing the page would show JUST WHAT a random visitor would see. NOT SO. Your word "edit" seems to be the only significant exception!! ... LOOKS LIKE a GREAT product!!

What is controlling "edit mode". Datatables doesn't have an "edit mode" by default. so I would say this is not a glitch caused by Datatables.

What is "UPDATE" on your site. Again this isn't something Datatables will have by default. So again this is not a Datatables glitch.

You have some custom code, it might be customized Datatables options or otherwise, that is doing or not doing what you want. Without seeing the problem its impossible to say what is happening. As Tangerine mentioned we will need to see a test case showing the issue to help debug.
