Example using FixedHeader and FixedColumns that includes a footer

I am unable to get a table using FixedHeader and FixedColumns extensions that include a footer.
I feel like the following page:
https://datatables.net/extensions/fixedcolumns/examples/integration/fixedHeaderFooter.html
suggests that this is possible, but I do not see a footer on the table.
When I try it, the horizontal scrollbar is above the footer line.

scrollX places the scrollbar between the table and the footer, see this example:

but I do not see a footer on the table.

Click the HTML tab to see the defined footer for the table. Maybe I'm not understanding this comment.

My mistake, yes I see the footer now. My problem is that the scrollbar is above the footer. Is there a way to put it below? I use the footer as a "totals" row and feel it looks much better if the scrollbar is under the "totals" row.
