The Client / Server doc explains how the Editor protocol works with the server. Datatables doesn't provide a Java server library. You might be able to find a third party library or you will need to write one that supports the documented protocol.

Please post any questions you have about the protocol. Not sure there is much Java expertise on the forum though.
