background-color linear-gradient(green, white)

Hi all, is it possible to set background-color: linear-gradient to a single cell?
I'm able to change but datatables ignore linear-grandient and apply only green.
Please let me know.

According to the Mozilla docs, it needs to use background, not background-color - it appears to be working here.

Could you look at that, please, and see if it helps. If it's still not working for you, please can you update my example, or link to your page, so that we can see the problem.
