I want to share my problem that already fix that might help you guys in the future. In may case everything is okay but somehow data in php cannot be json_encode. What I found is have difference dash in data. If you remove dash and add a new dash will fix.

    Sounds like a UTF-8 encoding issue, rather than anything DataTables specific. Good to hear you've got it working for your use case though.
