I'm afraid I can't help you then. Honestly I wish I could, but I've no way to see the issue and thus also no way to tell if I've fixed it, plus the tools I've been using don't show any problem.
You are welcome to patch a copy of DataTables (it is open source after all) to remove the smart quote codes if that is what is causing the issue.
