Joomla GUI backend for DataTables

Is there a Joomla component, module, and plugin that provides a nice backend GUI for using DataTables? If it requires a programmer to figure out, it's something I can do, but not something I can give to my clients that aren't programmers.

component - manage the database connections and configurations for various tables, including what cells are editable with what access rights, etc.

module - enable a datatable to be instantiated in a certain position.

plugin - enable a datatable to be instantiated in article text (or anywhere text is preprocessed).

There is this: http://smart.ari-soft.com/ari-jdatatable.html - but I don't know what benefit that would provide over just using DataTables directly. What would you be looking for from the Joomla integration? Something that provides a GUI for enabling and disabling features?

I used this before choosing to use datatables instead, ari data tables is good, but they only support some of the features that datatables does, e.g you cant use tabletools etc officially, without changing stuff in the code. I know ari uses datatables but it depends on what you want out the box features wise.

The backend of Joomla would be used to set up what would be included in the datatable (e.g., which columns), the permissions to do various operations, and many configurable parameters. In other words, it provides a gui for people who aren't coders but who also want the full power of datatables.
