Inline select field type in the Editor v1?

I recently upgraded to Editor v2.

I am happy to purchase the upgrade and support the team at DataTables.

My client wants to use the inline select field type in Editor, as shown in the Location column of this example: https://editor.datatables.net/examples/inline-editing/join.html.

Before I start regression testing our app, can someone confirm that the select field type is not supported in v1 of Editor?

The select docs state its been available since Editor 1.0.

Yup - select should work just fine with Editor 1 and 2 with inline mode.

I think the issue I was having was I wasn't using "inline mode". Let me go dig into that.

Hmmm - I might have misunderstood your thread title in that case. I'd assumed you had meant inline like in this example.

If you mean something else, can you link to a test case showing the issue please?
