I had a thread way back in 2018 for the items per page dropdown that it had a name causing it to be considered as form input. https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/49969/form-inputs-used-in-data-tables-are-defined-wrong#latest
It was said it would be addressed in V2, but it seems to still have a name. None of the other inputs used have a name.

I'm really sorry - I don't know what happened there. I've marked it for removal in 2.2 with bug reference number DD-3018.
If you need it gone before then, this is the line to remove.
