Disable the inital sort? (Simple question I think)

Great product,

Quick question. I want to pull in data from the server and populate it in the order of results I am returning from the database this works with "bServerSide": true, but then I have to manually add all other functionality. Is it not possible to disable the initial sort? I do not see any options.
