Fixed Headers - fixed to wrong place
Fixed Headers - fixed to wrong place
Hi,
This may be a silly question but, is there anyway to fix the header of the table to the top of the screen within its containing div instead of top of the screen regardless of table location? Also can the header then be made to stop being fixed when you reach the top of the last record on the table (this is so it does not over run the table it is the header on?
Just wondering because i have 1 page that has 3 dataTables on (which are contained in their own parent divs) but when I use fixed headers I get all 3 at top of the page and they just hover on top of everything on the page which seriously destroys the look of my page :-(
Any info would be great.
Regards,
Izzy

I haven't tested FixedHeader with multiple tables yet - and it sure sounds like it doesn't work (something else for the to-do list :-) ). There isn't a method of doing specifically what you are looking for at the moment, but I'd encourage you to have a poke around with the FixedHeader source code and see what you think (I know it's a typical open source response - but at the moment, I don't have a fix for you - sorry...)
