Table getting reset to default values

Thanks for plugin, it is really awesome. It working perfectly fine, but with a minor glitch. I have table uses sort, filter excel like , and within that table there is column which has button to a link. This link makes an ajax call to a page and displays the content within a modal popup window.
This page i.e. opened in the modal popup also uses the datatable for pagination. Once i close the popup, and filter my original page all the default things like search input, pagination and formatting comes back, which i dont want.
