Server side table loads on DOM.Ready and then degenerates on DOM.onLoad

I have used breakpoints in Google Chrome to confirm that on the onLoad event, the table hides the "correct number of records and active pagination" and shows "just 1 to 10 of 10 rows and disables pagination". Please help, I can't seem to capture where exactly the table degenerates, if I stop the page load before the onLoad event, I can move to other pages and search successfully.

I don't understand I'm afraid. Are you using deferred loading or something like that? I'll need a good few more details, and ideally a link to an example to be able to offer any help.
