    Hi psike,

There are a couple of reports about something going wrong with 1.5.5 in IE, so something has certainly gone wrong - but loading up my basic example ( http://datatables.net/examples/basic_init/zero_config.html ) in IE appears to work okay for me. Could you confirm if it works for you or not, as I'd really like to get to the bottom of this :-)

    Regards,
    Allan

Interesting... For me in IE8, that appears to work fine. I can page, filter, etc all without any problems. Using:

    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618)

Are you seeing a Javascript error or anything?

    Thanks,
    Allan

Could you confirm your browsers user agent for me? http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ . I can't understand why it is working for me, but not for you :-)

Interesting - I think I need to fire up my old laptop with XP on it and a bunch of virtual machines to get to the bottom of this :-). I've just run IE8 on Vista all the way through the unit tests (1318 tests) and it worked okay. I'll get beck to you shortly, when I've had a chance to dig out my other machine.

    Hi psike,

Think I've got it - there was an issue with sDom processing in IE. I've just issued release 1.5.6 which addresses this specific issue (and only this issue). Hopefully this will do the trick for you - please let me know if not!

    Allan

    Hi psike,

I think there is another thread about this somewhere, but this example works fine for me in IE: http://datatables.net/examples/advanced_init/language_file.html . Any JS errors reported?

    Regards,
    Allan
